Andrews, MA, MBA, MPH is a Udall Intern who recently interned in Wasington D.C. for the Office of Congressman Raul Grijalva. She is Hia-Ced O’odham, a member of the Tohono O’odham Nation. She is from Tucson, Arizona. Christina is currently pursuing a J.D. at Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University. She attended the University of Arizona and received a B.A. in Spanish and Portuguese, M.A. in English, M.B.A. in International Business, and M.P.H. in Policy and Management. Her professional experience has been in government, health and human services, and education. As a former Chairwoman of a newly created District of the Tohono O’odham Nation, her experience was critical to developing the necessary physical and governmental infrastructure for establishing a tribal community. Christina hopes to facilitate continued efforts to educate, empower, and advocate for Native American communities. A fun fact about Christina is she has 11 beautiful children: 9 girls and 2 boys, and a very supportive husband. |
